time to blog

well, i’ve been thinking about starting one of these for a while… even though i don’t really consider most of my thoughts to be worth posting, i do want to offer others an honest and vulnerable look at the life of a young female worship leader.

i think this blog is a great way to present my experiences and lessons (some hard-learned) as they relate to:

so — is there anything else you’d like to hear about?

well, welcome to “just a girl”

Yeah. There is, actually. Assuming you’ll actually find this comment buried way back here…When have you faced adversity in your faith and have you ever considered walking away from it?

(Guess I’m a little anxious for WW. Heh.

  4. Mandy,

I am thinking about you today for two reasons. One reason is that today is the 6th annual Way Radio Beach Concert. I think of you every year on this date. This year it is one month early though. There are very few people that I remember the exact date I met them. But for some reason I always remember you. I was very intentionally introduced with the words “Come, you have to meet Mandy.”
Side note: I am shaking and crying as I write this. Sigh.
Okay well Judy introduced me to you and you were sitting on the beach deck getting ready to go out to play with the church as the opening band.
Strange, huh, how I remember that?
I think at that time you had very recently become Mrs. Mandy Thompson. You and Drew are a true picture of God’s redemptive love. I prayed again for you and for you and “your man” today.
I will always be a fan of the “Drew and Mandy Show”. :)
Another side note: Still shaking as I type but not crying anymore.

    Still Loving,
    Tracie
