- play a number of instruments without reading music (its maddening! i wish i could!!!)
- cross my eyes
- sleep late on saturdays
- drive in the snow (a miracle for this Georgia girl!)
- make up recipes in my head that turn out surprisingly delicious! – i think i get it from my granny
5 things i cannot do:
- read music (sorry for the redundancy… it just drives me crazy)
- surf
- do math problems in my head like my husband
- listen to talk radio (i’ll fall asleep!)
- make it through the day without checking the blogworld! :0

My hubs and I don’t read music either. It really drives him nuts and he actually tried to learn so he could play classical music. But after a lifetime of playing by ear, it didn’t come as easily as he had hoped. You take what God gives you, I guess.

I have completed my task. For some reason I don’t have a serious bone in my body today. Answers are fuzzy! Oh my goodness, I had to stop and spell check “answers”! Does that look right – what a weird looking word!

It makes me crazy how super good at math my husband is. He is a human calculator and he is FAST! That is a good one, I should have put it on my list too!

I take it you can’t read music and you have a crush on Drew Thompson
) I can’t read music either and I can’t play an instrument, but I have sung in church choir for 18 years. After all this time I do know when to “rest” and I can tell when the next note is higher. That’s about it. I also wish I could read music. I want my 8 year old to take piano, so I can maybe learn something from her.
And it is impressive that you can drive in snow. This GA girl wouldn’t know what to do with snow!
I pray someday you get the daughter you wish for. I have 2 of them and it is really fun! I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy at this point.

Hey Mandy,
Hope you and Drew are doing well. Just wanted to extend the offer to come stay with me in Rochester, NY if you want to see Niagra Falls. Its only about an hour away from here. I went this past October and it was beautiful. Anywho, Hope you guys are doing well in Boston….do you think you will stay up north after school is over or are you headed back to St. Simon’s? Alright well take care and talk to you soon!
