i’ve been doing a lot of traveling lately. whenever i pack i wonder what i should wear from airport to airport….
do i go for comfort?
or do i go for style?
i’ve been known to wear everything from a hoodie to heels…
now i’m packing up to go back to the cold cold northeast. and i’m wondering: what do you wear when you travel?
Comfort all the way baby! Especially when I travel long distances or with my two kiddos. But at the same time I try to still be in style
I do comfort that is a step-up from my PJs. However, in the winter you can add a cute set of matching hat, scarf, and gloves that will attract attention away from the rest of the outfit. Oh man, I sound like one of those “all-knowing” fashionistas interviewed on a fluffy news program.
I have no idea why I care so much about this but I do. I grew up really poor and we never traveled anywhere so when I grew up and started traveling a lot I always dressed up so I would feel like a rock star. Then I got lazy and dressed very (possibly too) comfortable. I noticed that I had a far more difficult time getting through security, so now I dress up again.
I don;t get to travel as much as I’d like to but when i have I’ve always opted for comfort and layers. Easy slip on shoes like cute little ballet slipper flats. Favorite worn in jeans. Tank and hoody! Hmmmm, that sounds like a great outfit for today!
Have a safe trip! Hope you had a great, great time!
2 words “Sansa Belt”…
Comfort AND Style
Anything with a sports jacket.
Comfort but not sloppy is my choice!
This is funny – I face the same dilemma every time I fly anywhere!
I used to always opt for comfort, but then every trip I would feel like such a frump when I saw the other passengers dressed in their trendy outfits.
So now I tend to be more strategic about my travel outfit choice. And I think I’ve turned into one of the trendy passengers. But Dustin’s right … you do get treated better.
