Bronchitis…

A home diagnosis of bronchitis: written by mandy thompson, as experienced last week in her last week of vacation quarintined on beautiful St. Simons Island.

Bronchitis = the inability to stop coughing.

Symptoms include: waking yourself up by coughing in your sleep, sore ribs and stomach muscles, scratchy voice mimicking a second bout with puberty (well, that was drew’s experience!), feeling so crummy that you’d rather have two shots in the rear than suffer a day longer, and then more coughing.

Side effects may consist of the inability to spend much time with beloved friends, taking multiple naps per day, a less than exciting vacation, and an unshakable desire to pay someone to rip your own head off.

If these symptoms and side effects persist for more than 5 days, lay on the couch and moan until the neighbors call 911.

  3. Hi! I saw that you visited my blog! I hope you are feeling better. Self-diagnosis is the way to go! That way you avoid the doctor…eeewwww. I pray blessings on your music and I look forward to hearing it. I used to sing all the time in worship bands and such, but since we have changed churches it just isn’t an option. I’m Ok with that. God has me doing other things. I’ll just enjoy it thru you! :)

  4. SSI?? Wow! what a place to be ill. Love your diagnosis and rememdies (Pay someone to rip your head off!!! LOL) Hope you’re feeling much, much better by now.

Thanks for your note on my blog. I drive other drivers crazy snapping photos wildly as I drive. (Just the little aim and shoot “Power Shot”)

My prayers for your SIL. You’re so right! Waiting for that final diagnosis/prognosis is agonizing anytime the big “C” is mentioned. And thank you — He is my comfort like never before.
