Confess: i actually wet my pants!

ok, so i had a near-wetting episode last night. i piled on the couch with two GREAT friends and we watched this over and over and over again until we cried:

LOL – my sides BURN from laughing so hard!!! Phoebe Buffet is my all-time favorite!

and if that’s not funny enough, here’s the blooper reel for that joke:

ok ok… i’ll tell the truth. i actually have laughed so hard that i wet my pants once. it was last thanksgiving – with drew’s family (who is the WITTIEST bunch of people i’ve ever met!)… we were playing pictionary and i’d had a glass of wine. (ok ok ok! i’ll confess again: TWO glasses of wine. but that’s my LIMIT. don’t let myself have more than that!) whew. anyway, we laughed and laughed and laughed… then i finally went upstairs to get ready for bed and realized: :o holy toledo, i’ve wet my pants!!! then i laughed some more!

alright, your turn to confess, have you ever laughed so hard you wet your pants?

  1. hahaha. I love Friends sooo much. It’s one show I never get tired of watching! Yes, I have laughed “that” hard before. when I watched bruce almighty. The scene where he is controling the mouth of Steve Carrell’s character. SSOOO funny! I can’t watch with out laughing hard enough to start an asthma attack…which we both know is pretty funny in and of it’s self! :)

  2. Okay, okay… I watched this and laughed and laughed… AND LAUGHED! I laughed so hard I had to walk away (to the bathroom)…then clicked on something else and was STILL laughing! Thanks, I sure needed that.
and confession time… if I drink tea, it goes right through me, so I don’t drink it in public… after having 4 kids my bladder control is NOT what it needs to be – take that to be a “yes”…

  3. heather: i had a feeling you’d laughed that hard before!

y’all… i checked this post from work to make sure the videos were running and i nearly embarrassed myself in the library from laughing so hard! it cracks me up EVERY TIME!!!
    :)

  4. My wife is a Friends fan. Me? Not so much. But I watch with her because she loves it.

I’m thinking that one of my favorite moments is the Ross yelling “Pivot” moment…

I won’t tell you which episode, to see if you know which one it is. Are you really a fan?

  5. Russ: i’m totally a fan. as of August, 2007. i have a couple of friends up here that LOVE the show – own all seasons – & let me borrow theirs! so, we pile up & have friends marathons. i didn’t know a dang thang about the show ’til i started watching season 1 in august. i’m now halfway through season 7. pushing forward!!! addicted? yes. confession on that soon. :)
    pivot = couch?

  6. We’re confessing…ok, I admit to laughing so hard I wet my pants, it was in college! don’t remember what I was laughing at, but I had to take off my sweatshirt and wrap it around my waist till I could get back to my dorm room and change! YUCK!
    :-)

  7. Pi-vot! Pi-vot! HAHAHA that is Jon’s favorite too! IT’s the one where Ross and Rachel buy a couch but he does not want to pay for delivery so they carry it to the apartment….Yes, I am a recovering Junkie! :)

  8. Ok that was funny…but if you are already wetting your pant and you haven’t had kids yet…best stock up of the depends! You ain’t seen nothing yet! :D

  9. Mandy- Pregnancy was the first time I experienced wetting my pants….repeatedly. Everytime I laughed, coughed, sneezed you name it. After giving birth, it was even worse with the list including running, jumping, etc. Thankfully, seven years after giving birth it only happens if I sneeze when I have to pee REALLY bad. What a nightmare. Oy. Was that TMI? Sorry. ;)

  10. Sorry, but yes, imhelendt is right. Depends here you come… Good news is that there are exercises you can do to strengthen your muscles. :)

  11. Wow it has been a while hasn’t it?
    RYC’s—thanks you.
And I needed this post. I forgot how funny they could be.
And the answer to the question–when I was about 17. And that means that it has been way to long since I laughed good and hard.

  13. Me, I’m a recovering Gilmore Girls addict – I love the fast paced banter. But I had forgotten how stinkin’ funny Friends is!

And you have no earthly idea how much I needed this laugh this morning!!!!

My favorite: Ross and “unagi” . . . but you have to say it while pointing to your head just like Ross – ha ha ha!!!

  14. Oh and yeah unfortunately like a million times I’ve done that. Growing up with this girl down the street from me…hands down funniest person I’ve ever known. Yeah she made me laugh so hard I’d pee in my pants all the time. Sad but true. Yes folks…I was a wetter.

  15. so so so funny, Mandy. One of my favorite lines from Friends ever was from the same episode when Monica and Chandler are watching Ross practice the bagpipes from the window.

Monica: (accusatory to Chandler) why is your family Scottish?!??!?!
Chandler: why is YOUR family ROSS????!???

Love it love it love it. And that is one of the best blooper moments ever released to Friends fans.

Ok. So I was a bit of a fan back in the day. Probably can recite most of 1st two seasons. :)

  16. That’s hilarious! I love Friends! :) I had never seen the blooper part.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog!! :) I’ll have to confess that I’ve been a lurker on your blog and was excited when you left ME a comment!!!

we also love friends and rely on them when we need a really good laugh. that gag reel is hilarious.

confession: yes, like another reader said, two kids later and bladder control is not my biggest stregnth – the time it happened was when i was with my dad and my husband in the car, i’m not sure anymore what we were laughing at and i was VERY pregnant… :)

  19. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I am crackin up!!! PHEW. Thank you so much for directing me to this. I needed a good laugh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
