My body/emotions/mind when through enough of the “sympathy” chances without having to wear a prosthetic belly when my now ex-wife was pregnant.
Joe, I know that many men feel that they are going through pregnancy with their wives, but I think that was the point of this article. Here is a man whose wife just had a baby 3 months earlier, and he went through sympathy pain with her. That is why he thought that wearing the belly, breasts and bladder pusher would be only a little uncomfortable, but really no problem. He realized through wearing it that there was way more to being pregnant than even a father of 2 knew existed. Most fathers carry a large load when their wives are pregnant. It is tough to be a father to be. This article wasn’t disputing that, just saying that there is way more to pregnancy than is apparent to the on lookers.
I think every man who’s wife is expecting should have to wear one of these for at least 24 hrs!
in Christ,
angela
