the do’s and don’ts of Mandy’s bachelorette week
maybe i should say the “did’s” and “didn’ts”…
either way, here’s my week in review (with no logical order):
I DID:
- flirt incessantly with drew via texting.
- fear an emotional meltdown from being alone.
- have an emotional meltdown from being alone.
- feel better after said emotional meltdown.
- watch Drew’s cousin on TV.
- go to the gym. once. stayed 15 minutes.
- get asked out by a couple of under-age drinkers.
- send a gift to my “met on the net” friend.
- go to a slumber party – during the WEEK!
- eat soup…nearly EVERY day.
- stand outside in 22 degrees watching a lunar eclipse.
- have an all-girl jam session at my church, and i was the drummer! (but don’t worry – my preacher doesn’t know about it, because he’s with drew. oh, and it was his wife’s idea!)
- finish season 8 of Friends. Rachel had Emma and is now engaged to Joey, wearing Ross’s ring. OH THE DRAMA!
- sleep well the last few nights.
I DID NOT:
- sleep well the first few nights.
- start season 9 of Friends. very sad. very sad indeed…
- cook. (except for homemade soup – once!)
- wake up the neighbors when struggling to figure out how to play my electric guitar.
- get nearly as much music stuff accomplished as i wanted.
- shave my legs.
- have to shovel my car out of the snow! WOW!
- go out with aforementioned under-age drinkers! 
Drew is now back…. all is right with my world. ahhhh………..
Glad you survived the week.
I used to be that way in the beginning when Keith and I first got married. Now I just love having the whole bed to myself. But…I do miss him…….but it is a good miss.
what a week. i’m jealous you had a slumber party – that sounds like so much fun.
the last episode of season 8 and the first few of 9 are rough, eh? why would she do that?
i’m sure you’ll enjoy your next wwek of being married again!
We are watching season 4 at the moment. I am addicted.
