Absolutely. Being over 60 I’ll just go take a nap.
Also Major League Baseball doesn’t get into full swing until Monday.
Ed: a nap? at 8:00 at night? you might as well go to bed!
My life should be called ‘earth life’ then, since all i ever do is run around turning things off other people leave on. ugh.
Ever notice how QUIET is is if most all electricity is off?! eerie.
Love & blessings!
Mandy, I am usually up to around 3 or 4 am, mostly with my blogging buddies on the west coast, so an 8 pm nap might help.
Robin: we have frequent power outtages in our apartment…. and, yeah, its CRAZY when all the power is off…. creepy really!
Ed: makes sense now!!!
I enjoyed Ed’s baseball comment. My dad and pastor are huge HUGE fans. They’ll be at opening day (Go Tigers!). Ed, have you ever seen Fever Pitch? I think you would appreciate it if you are a baseball fan. “Summer guy” is about to return.
I don’t know if hubs will let me turn the TV off during that hour or not …. March Madness is on and UNC is playing to make it to the final 4. Does turning everything else off count?
Heather: TWO of my seminary bffs are UNC graduates. we may know the same peeps!
As long as my laptop is charged by then and the drugz i use to sedate my son are in full effect
there’s no way he’d survive without watching March Madness
that is a rather inconvenient hour…but i probably won’t be home.
does it matter which time zone? or is it just 8pm wherever you are?
I can easily shut off everything in my apartment for an hour. And I am right up there with Ed–because baseball isn’t in full-swing yet. Although MY TEAM recently split The Official Opening Day series in Japan against a bunch guys who look like they’re wearing egg salad for uniforms. Heh.
I know, I know. That wasn’t very nice. But you should see me when Tito’s Kid’s take on the Spankees!
Yes, I’ve seen FEVER PITCH…and SUMMER GUY IS RETURNING!!! Got my blood flowing already! It’s not just baseall…It’s The Red Sox!
(Totally off the topic, but “Summer Guy” does that!)
Eerily quiet always sounds good to me. I loved it when the power was out for a few days for the tornados. It made us LIVE! (Except for the issues of heat and freezers)
I WISH i could have participated- I was at work and we had a guy playing that I can’t stand. Wish I could’ve turned the power off on him.
