(mandy, you just said ‘right’ & i’ve been meaning to ask you…since we moved to the south, we’ve noticed people saying, ‘right?!’ after we say a statement. usually with a laugh (rihihihight?). it seems to be a way of saying “yeah, i know, huh?!” or “totally, i agree”. what’s the deal with that? is it a southern thing?? do you do that? also! people, when referring to stores, they seem to inadvertently add “the” in front of the name & an ‘s’ on the end, even if it’s just one store they’re referring to(“i’m fixin’ to head over to the wal marts”). so strange!!

q: would you rather be stuck in an elevator with steve carrell or dane cook (both from “dan in real life”)?

Q: If you’re life had to be compared to a reality show, which would it be and why?

  25. Think I might be messing up the dialogue a bit here, but wanted to stop by and say hi. Mandy, you are way cool and your blog entry’s are more entertaining than the best Hollywood could ever offer us. Right now, I have been fousing on my teen boys, having them home for the summer from school. Am really enjoying the break from homework and such, but am on the fly. Anywho, if you have a moment, you might like reading my thoughts on “Pray-paring for 20 somethings.” I’d love your (others) insight on this. In the meantime, who needs tv when we have you!!! You are way cool girly girl!!!

Q: What is your opinion about watching pirated films? (Not pirate films like the Caribbean kind – pirated as in someone sat in the movie theater with a cam corder and then uploaded the movie to the world wide web for everyone to see or runs off dvds to sell on the street.)

  27. A: as a starving artist, i’m not a fan of stealing creative work… even though i think a lot of stars are grossly overpaid. still. it’s a matter of principle for me. (or is it principal? i can never get those right.)

Q: do you watch Rated R movies?

  30. A: yes, in orlando, they have these scary self-contained neighborhoods right out of “pleasantville” or “the truman show.” it’s so weird.

Q: will you go see 24, the movie?

  31. Q: What movie or Tv show really brought meaning to your life?

Q: What TV/Movie star has aged, or changed, the most since you first saw them.

Q: Have you seen Passion of the Christ? How did you interpret it in terms of your belief?

  36. Q: What’s your favorite comic book movie?

A: The Batman movie where Jack Nicholson played the Joker

Q: Do you prefer a movie with a lot of special effects or more charcater development.

  37. A: Character development. You can spend a zillion dollars on FX, but if the movie doesn’t have meaningful characters, it’s a lost cause. Period.

Q: Which KING KONG movie do you like best? The ORIGINAL from the 1930s, the FIRST remake from the 1970s, or that AWFUL FILM with Jack Black?

  38. Q: Which KING KONG movie do you like best? The ORIGINAL from the 1930s, the FIRST remake from the 1970s, or that AWFUL FILM with Jack Black?

A: No contest the original 1930′s version. Much better story and character development.

Q: The original of “War of the Worlds”, 1953, starring Gene Barry, or the recent Tom Cruise version?
