2) Puget Sound, freezing my butt off because today is chilly. Not really, but we had several days of clear, blue skys which we Seattle-ites crave like an expectant mama to a pickle. Slightly overcast causing me to need light jacket. So I whine a bit.
3) Christ’s child in the classroom of life, wife, mom, teacher. As of last night homemade cake maker. Made first chocolate cake from scratch for cousin. Mad it is not up for award. I need people to start watching. It’s where “Office” meets “My Name’s Earl.” So stinkin’ funny!!! I am sure the writers went to my high school and did a character study when they created roles. I know I went to high school with each of them. Still figuring out which character I am like. For now, my favorite is Ingrid. Please watch it. I want to talk about it with someone.

4. How much on groceries? Ugh! Too much. For our family of 4 – about $800 per month. More if we have guests. Mind you – We pay about $6/gal for milk and about the same for a pound of butter. A box of Cheerios (only one variety available) costs $7.8 and Shredded Wheat or Frosted Flakes about $6.40 – just to put the high cost in perspective.

However, my husband almost never eats at home, so that is mostly what I eat. (now that looks high. But I can never fit my grocery bill in the budget.) So on food … it would be considerably higher if you count things like fast food and stops at the gas station (where he gets most of his sustenance).

Well Coupons, I buy in bulk, and we don’t eat out much. Farmer’s market. Twice a year we buy a 1/2 cow and store it in a freezer too. So no meat to purchase in other times.
Now, I don’t use name brands either unless it has a coupon. (except for Ice cream
)
I always go to the store where it doubles and NO I am not that annoying woman in front of you with coupons, If I go coupon shopping I go real early like 6 am to do my shopping.
We don’t eat filet mignon either.
I wish and sometimes do splurge and we go above that budget, but with good faith
we keep it right around 300.00.

For myself, not much. That’s because my dog, Sam, gets all of the good stuff. And his grocery bill comes out to about $160 a month. And if I have enough left over, then I treat myself to some dippy eggs with turkey bacon and honey sausage over french toast with syrup topped off with strawberries and whipped cream.
