  1. A: Once, I guess. My family just moved from Wisconsin to Virginia. But I suppose every year I “move” to Missouri to start school, and I “moved” to South Africa for a year.

Q: What was the most difficult thing for you to understand (about the world around you- not scholastically) as a teenager?

  2. OOOPS!

The most difficult thing to understand was that I wasn’t quite grown up as I felt I was, and had to understand patience…it suckethed a lot!

    same question…

  3. Around 6-7 hours if I discipline myself. Otherwise I stay up way too late…

    Darn you olympics!!

(P.S. I think I will be in the area of Tropical Storm Fay if she hits ocean and heads back inland).

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island with a solar powered entertainment center what ONE movie would you have to have with you?

  4. A: “How to Get Un-Stranded and Other Helpful Wilderness Survival Tips” [you never saw that blockbuster of a movie? Strange... it topped the charts... ;-) ]

Q: If someone gave you a five minute pass in a time travel machine would you rather have five minutes in the future or five minutes in the past?

  5. [I think so...because I was supposed to go to Savannah...and they cancelled stuff yesterday...so who knows...I just hope I don't blow away!]

  6. [ you might be okay. its weakened a little more...45 mph...and is supposed to stay on the coast as far as we know...but its been extremely unpredictable.]

  7. 7th grade, just moved and started playing basketball again and meeting some great friends! A lot of my memories of school come from that year!

Q: If you could drop everything and travel to another country where would you go and what would you do?

  8. A: He eats dirty diapers if we don’t throw them away IMMEDIATELY. He’ll even go as far as to get them after we’ve tossed them out. He’s an odd dog. :???: And gross.

Q: When you get online in the morning, how long does it take you to “make your rounds” before getting off?

  9. [ well, for stepping on my toes you should be taken off!!! So kidding]

A: I think like 15…but I read them as they are updated.

Q: Have you ever seen the movie ” Auntie Mame? I haven’t wondering what you thought.

  10. [ Good question, right now its sorta in the water, sorta on land, and its expected to do a boomerang....]

    A: White Oleander

Q:did you see the kite surfer accident on TV?( if not I’ll put it on my blog in a little bit)

  11. {We have initiated our severe weather plan at work here in Brunswick. It has already started raining some but the worst is supposed to hit tomorrow/tomorrow night.}

A: No, how can you be unbiased when the Olympics are in China?!?!

Q: Have you ever been in a hurricane before?

  12. No.

[ sidenote...I would have been in Savannah tomorrow...another close call at meeting you..how funny is that!]

    [ i think he did]

Q: What is annoying to you?

  13. {Believe me, we are trying…..Imagine going through this with 53 kids that are MR and have sever emotional and behavioral problems. It is going to be a long next few days. Right now it is looking like the worst is supposed to hit tomorrow night so maybe you will be okay if you get in early enough. Savannah is a little further up so you have a better shot than if you were flying into JAX)

    {Actually we are more concerned about the possible tornadoes than the storm itself!}

    A: Other people’s incompetence

Q: Are you a college football fan?

  14. Um, I don’t know, I don’t watch Olympics..but perhaps.

Q: Do you think my friend the blog lurker should come out of hiding?

  15. A: yes. all lurkers should come out of hiding! :) but, then again, we publish our writings on the web for the whole world to see, so we can’t fault people for looking….

    Q: what’s for lunch?

    [ramsey - hang in there!]

  16. [ ramsey where do yo live?]

[Its not so bad here anymore, it was like a monsoon last night, and my boss was upset we had to go in, but no tornadoes here, and its been just ALOT of wind and rain...not that scary..Now Charlie...Charlie was scary....so no worries.]

  17. {I am in Brunswick, Ga. They just canceled the tropical storm watch here saying that it is weakening and not going where they thought it would go but we still have flood watches in effect and these storms seem to have a mind of their own!}

  18. [dang. beat at my own game... ok. well. ramsey: THANK YOU for the update!!! tell it to go away. why don't you take all those kids and put them on Jekyll's beach and tell them to push the storm away??? that oughta do the trick!]

who’s turn is it? what question are we on? i’m so confused.

  19. [y'all are cracking me up! all this work and we only have one more week of WW..]

[Canada? good morning Char-latte - i DO hope you stick around - your name is just TOO cool!]

    who’s turn is it?

  20. [I know I need to ask a question, I just keep forgetting to do so LOL]

    A: I don’t know, I don’t really think I’ve been anywhere too crazy. Maybe FLORIDA ;P

Q: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do with the money?

  21. [ okay, disclaimer: the canadian has dial-up I think...so forgive her slowness]

since I asked mine, I’ll answer hers.

A: pay my bills lol, and then go to starbucks.

Q: What is the sappiest thing you’ve done?

  22. The sappiest thing I’ve done? Created a romance novel for an anniversary gift for my husband. I don’t think either of us read it. LOL. If you could dye you hair a funky color for a day, which color would you pick?

  23. WW is out of control! LOL

A: both but b&w is reserved for more “special” pics
Q: anyone as excited as me about football season (lots of sarcasm)?

  24. A: not up here in New England – it dropped down to 50 degrees last night. sniff sniff.

Q: um. favorite stuck-in-the-airport activity? we’re probably gonna get stranded tomorrow…

  25. A: Coffee, reading, and people watching.

[savannah airport has a website and it does not look like you will be stranded]

Q: Favorite thing to do when traveling long distance in car to make time go by?

  26. A: Put on Bob Marley and lose myself!
Q: You’re on an overnight flight. In the middle of a totally sleepless night, you are hit with the overwhelming need to visit the restroom. The problem is: you’re in the middle seat of the middle row… and the big men on either side of you are reclined and snoring. AND a touch ornery from what you can remember from when they were awake. You REALLY have to go. Do you wake them?

  27. A: I hold it as long as possible and wake one of them after exhausting all other options (climbing over the seat for example..) and then feel much better.

Q: how do you feel about Sunday afternoon naps?

  28. A: Not a football fan, but I guess I would say Michigan State University because I went to college there.

Q: What food are your craving at this very moment?

  29. Sorry meant what food are you craving… I might start to make up my own typo blog language!

    Q: favorite movie snack?

  31. oooh Ed, this is good.

When we lived in Missouri there was a tornado not far, sirens hadn’t gone off yet but they did later. Anyway, I was outside and BRANCHES were literally flying through the air. I was completely freaking out b/c I was home along.

What is your typical Sunday routine?

  32. Q: What is your typical Sunday routine?

A: Being retired, and not a church goer, my Sundays are just like any other day. Summer days mostly the beach. Winter days mostly in the park. Books, music, movies, sports on TV. Being retired is a tough life. :) The only activity I stay away from on the weekend is the Internet.

Q: What was your favorite hiding place as a child?

  33. A: my cousin and i built a fort (made of a window screen and bricks) in the side yard that i spent a good amount of time in. whenever it got destroyed, i would just hang out in the side yard in general.

    Q: favorite childhood game?

  34. Q: favorite childhood game?

A: Baseball to play, “Cowboys” to pretend (I was my idol “Hopalong Cassiday”) and for board games probably “Clue”.

Q: What were you most afraid of as a child?
