Andrea’s original wording was that she was having one of those days where life gets in the way of art. I totally related. And stole her idea.
So. yeah.
My answer (And Andrea’s) would be ART.
Sometimes the busyness of our everyday life gets in the way, or maybe blinds us, to our life. I think that’s how we can get to a Friday and say “wow, where’d the week go? “.
I’d have to agree with Sara who made the comment…Don’t let life get in the way of connecting. We work so hard at our passions to connect with one another at the heart level.
It’s far to easy to live our lives nearsighted, with this tunnel vision that only encompasses our day, our week, our home, our 5 friends … and then when ‘life’ gets hectic, stressed, painful, and down right clausterphobic, we forget HOW MUCH there really is to this life we live - so much more than what smacks us in the face every day. If we live deliberately, choosing to look at the inspiring, delightful, joyful, enriching things … it is then, I think, that we are truly living.
really, don’t let whatever is going on in your life get in the way of God. I wish i could just put my heart in this comment, I hate when words can’t explain what i want to get across.

Since all my answers (all the really good/serious ones) have been taken, I’m gonna go with…
bacon
sara // November 17, 2008 at 5:17 pm
hahaha! Jeff… you’ve hit the nail on the head. I don’t remember the last time I had enough bacon in my life.
I’ve been thinking about it since inworship’s blog yesterday…

You know, I can understand something like “beef jerky” - since it is more on the side of meat candy… But bacon? It’s just… bacon.
You guys and your inner children are crazy. You make me laugh, but you’re crazy!
Thanks for playin’ along.
