Music Monday, continued…

(I always heard that collaboration made the best songs. This is so incredibly beneficial for me. I know I might be the only one having fun, but humor me. This could be the blogosong of the year. Well, if that even existed…)

Yesterday I asked for ideas to expand the thought “Let’s don’t and say we did.”

The ideas were rolling in, and fantabulous… Well, except for that one about blending smoothies without the lid on top.

Anyway, one idea was so particularly amazing that people started voting for it. And, well, I had to agree, it was pretty darn good. Sarah said:

let’s don’t fight, but say we did, just so we can make up again. -)

Yep. I think that’ll do it. I think that’s where we can go with this one.

BUT (there’s always a but)

We need a few scenarios, to vary the concept. Maybe telling a story. Maybe by telling their story. And the line “let’s don’t and say we did” has to apply to the scenarios.

Here’s a possibility to kick things off: they meet when both have places to be, but the connection is instant and they wanna spend the day together, “Let’s don’t (go to our places) and say we did.”

Ok. Your turn… Make it good!

  1. If you want to tell them we did it

    Well then…all righty

Cause it’s alot more believable than sayin’

you’re carrying around the Son of the Almighty.

    (It’s Christmas Themed)

  2. Ok, well it might now be next in line from a story-telling standpoint (maybe) but … the morning after … honeymoon? when they have to get up and go back to work … “Let’s don’t and say we did.”

  3. His wallet’s thin, but his heart is not. He dreams up a plan for something grand. She says, baby let’s don’t, but say we did. Then we’ll slip on home for an evening alone.

  4. Don’t know how many people could relate to the idea but….

lets don’t do what God tells us to
    - but say we did so all the kids
down at church will love us even mo’.

‘Cos tho’ it’s wrong i so want to belong
with those like me who don’t quite see
What His Truth really said all along.

Not in my pride i try so hard to hide
    to everyone – even me.

  5. Hmmm…. Interesting stuff here. I think some of this can work. I’ll put it down in my ideas folder!!! :)

What’s more interesting is that some of you commented that you didn’t have any thing to say. :) Curiously interesting, you are.
