The First Minute

True or false??

  1. Hmmm. Not to disagree, but I disagree. I say false. I have several friends that either I misjudged them at our first meeting or they misjudged me. Sometimes first impressions are just wrong.

  2. Hmm. Tough one.
    Define “know” for both relationships.
And are either the friend or acquaintance blog readers?

    Variables.

Over all, general, the very first minute they ever meet you? Hmmm. Probably not. That first ever minute will be the time they know you the same.

If not the very first minute of the very first meeting, then yes. Just by a “hello” a friend may be able to tell how your day is going. An acquaintance may never know…

  3. well, I know I have friends who see coming and know what kind of day I’m having…:)

It takes time to really become a true friend.

  4. false, too much fakeness going on with people nowadays to know if youre seeing the real person-my experience anyway.
Friendship-the true stuff, like love, take TIME.

  5. It depends on where you first meet.

If it’s in a situation where we are trying to be on their best behavior, first date, new job, then we may not be projecting our true personality, especially if we are nervous.

If we first meet in a group of friends, where it’s a more relaxed atmosphere, and we are more likely to be our real selves.

Passion, physical attraction, often happens with the first look. I think love usually takes more time to grow.

  6. Great that you appreciate it on how we communicate in our visitors in this blog.. More power to your blog also and I hope you can have chit chat also to some of my visitors via comments in this blog.. and Yup I value comments from readers. :) More power and happy blogging

  7. When you walk off a plane and are met by someone you have only seen in pictures and talk to on the phone and read blogs.

When you look through the glass in a door and see someone coming and you can’t wait for the door to open so you can hug them for the first time. I say……

    TRUE
