louise – i agree about hearing me less and more of mandy. thats a no brainer

i think i shouldve stayed out on the first two lines of the chorus and just come in on “the ups and the downs….” maybe even less than that.

Louise! Yes, there’s always one. Thank you for those comments… I really do consider everything that everyone mentions in here. And, you know, my “happy” p0int wasn’t nearly as happy as some might’ve liked: basically, life is crappy sometimes and we can’t change it – the only thing we can change is what we do with that crap. Happy? maybe volitional – empowering, but I wouldn’t directly say happy.

And – oh worse – much worse – eek – I preferred it when it didn’t get happy. Or make sense. It just was. But…I realise there’s a fine line that Christian artists have to walk. And have no good ideas, so shouldn’t bring a problem when I don’t have a solution. Sigh.

there’s always going to be one, isn’t there?

I prefer the first version prechorus and chorus.

Love Tam’s voice – really enjoyed the worship session with the two of you together, love her coming in on “It all” but want much more of just your voice on this one.

Oh well. Just my two cents. Still looking forward to hearing the studio version.

Just heard the song and the two of you over at Tam’s…

Naturally, i love it.

I was struck though with how powerful the link could be between the ‘Hits and the Misses’ and ‘This is – life’.

If you’re completely happy with it the way it is then ignore me, but i think it might sound ok as :

…hits and the misses (empty beat) This is (empty beat) – Our Life! (Guitar riff)

And i’m glad that you and Mr Guitar hung around together long enough for this one!

I wonder what a drum solo would/could add to the song???
