Strange Strangers

I saw something like this over at my buddy Josh’s blog (yeah, he’s the up-and-coming photographer responsible for my pic at the top of this little blog – and if you live in Ohio, you should book him).

Now what was I saying? Oh yeah! I know a lot of newbies have wandered over in the past few months, so I thought it’d be cool to have a little meet-n-greet here. Leave us some facts in the comments, please!

  1. Name
  2. Where you live
  3. What you do
  4. Blog url
  5. 1 strange fact about yourself – the stranger the better!

I’ll let this role through the weekend so all of you can sneak in and take a peak at all the other wierdos!

:)

Just one strange fact, Mandy? Actually, given it’s Friday afternoon, my brain’s foggy and I’m not sure what to say here. How about this…I have a blond streak in my brunette hair. It did not come from a peroxide accident; it’s a birthmark. And yes, it’s always been there. (Said often to those who notice it for the first time…after having known me for a while. Sometimes the streak gets buried under the rest of my hair!)

  3. ps – unrelated, but i see you added your blog title back above the header image… would you like me to put some text in that graphic for you, or do you like it that way? i’m not an awful designer.

  4. J: thank you for that offer. i have a software that would let me drop the name in there, but decided to leave your pic as is – especially since I can’t pull the “mandythompson.com” off of the top there. so. redundancy helped me make that decision.

Bahava: Oh yeah!!! What do you think of SA & Thrive so far???

PQ: those streaks are in style, you know? ;)

I HAVE to walk on the right side of the person I’m walking with. If I’m in a group, I’m ok as long as there’s one person to my left. People get used to it after awhile…my closest friends freak out if I’m on the wrong side just as much as I do.

    5. I’m sure there are many strange facts about me, but this is the only one at the moment that comes to mind… I cannot squish bugs or spiders. I have two special wide-mouthed jars, one upstairs and one downstairs, that I put the bug or spider in, carry outside and release.

For those of you (or y’all) that are interested in joining me in this humane endeavor, may I recommend a wonderful jar… the 15oz. Pace salsa dip jar. mild, medium, or hot is up to you since the jar will be empty so it’s not important.
