I’ve seen this before and I loved it. I agree with whatireallywanttosayis … I thought it was really beautiful. Something about the monochromatic scenes with the chocolate bunnies standing out as the only contrasting color makes it all the more stark. Glad you liked it!

Becca: That is so true. The music here is haunting. Very powerful, music is. That’s why I think I love Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” so much – there isn’t a single note of music in it, just like real life, so it’s even scarier. I think as a kid I paid more attention to the music in movies and TV than the actors – which is probably why I ended up a musician.
It is the music…perfect choice.

That was very disturbing to me. Poor little bunnies.
And now I’m craving some chocolate.
The music brings some weird irony, as if to say there’s beauty in destruction – in death. The bunny sits there and takes it. Doesn’t fight. Doesn’t defend itself. Just faces what’s coming.
Ironic… And that’s what makes it funny to me.
I do think the power is in the music.
Although … I couldn’t help but notice … this was a guy doing this. Of course. I mean … a guy would think of this, right??
If that is for kids it’s a bit more disturbing than it appears.
