Tam asked her readers to take a handwriting analysis test yesterday. Here are my disconcerting results:
- Letters that slant in more than one direction: Indicates versatility and adaptability. <southern twang> Thank you, Boston. </southern twang>
- Moderate pressure (the writing is dark, but you can’t feel the rib on the other side of the paper): Shows ability to deal with stress. (Again, I owe this to the move to Boston.)
- Small letters: The hallmark of quiet, introspective types – they’re generally detail-oriented and have good concentration. (Songwriters, maybe?)
- Narrow letters: Show someone who’s somewhat shy and inhibited but very self-disciplined. (Shy? Not surprised. But you probably are.)
- Some letters connecting: Means the writer’s personality blends logic and intuition. (Not bad… right?)
- A straight beginning stroke: Reveals someone who’s rigid and doesn’t like being told what to do. (Unfortunately, a number of my bosses might agree with this. Oh, and Drew, too.)
- An end mark that curves up: Reveals generosity. (Feeling better now.)
- An indecipherable scrawl: Indicates a person who’s secretive, closed-up and likes to keep his thoughts to himself. (There it is right there. The answer to my handwriting mystery. Lack of self-disclosure. You would think that blogging has improved my penmanship. Nope. But I can type faster now!)
Alright. Your turn!
I did this at Tam’s already…but I did want to say that your handwriting would look great on a prescription from my GP.
I pretty much have the handwriting you want. Ex-school teacher. It’s nice and pretty.
Sorry
Love you so big.
I REALLY hate to say this… but i can’t see a single end mark there that curves up?? Like mine – they seem to end straight out to the right?
( The g of handwriting, the y of company, the e’s and the d of bad?)
So – are you cautious at all?
<B
dang. that thing rocked me.

Hmm…just wanted to say that I can read your handwriting. Then again, reading bad handwriting is one of my spiritual gifts.
And also wanted to say that my computer was being a piece of crap last night, so I couldn’t listen to your songs. It better behave tonight or I just don’t know what I’ll do.
I love your handwriting! It should be a font!
yeah. that indecipherable scrawl part? me, too.
hmmmm….
what?
Jordan! We could call it “indecipherable…”
Me too have this same handwriting …….
Mandy… no worries.. mine is worst. That’s why I use a laptop!!!
You have the handwriting of a famous musician
“An indecipherable scrawl: Indicates a person who’s secretive, closed-up and likes to keep his thoughts to himself.”
My handwriting is so bad I always print. I was going to show you the rest of my handwriting analysis but being closed-up and secretive I won’t.
I don’t really buy this analysis because it says
“likes to keep his thoughts to himself.” I will tell anyone, anything, anytime, whether they want to hear it or not.
Again, I didn’t do this because I have so many different types of handwriting I’m not sure what my original is anymore. I like intentionally changing it so it’s like I’m writing in different fonts for different occasions.
I don’t think they have a category for strange people. Like me.
BROOKE IS HERE!
Famous Musician? HAHAHA!!! Maybe one day! You makin’ some contacts for me in Nash??!
Gitz: “Strange people” IS the category.
Do I get points if I can read that whole napkin? My handwriting changes from day to day, depending on how i’m feeling. My horrible penmanship bugs me, and i’m pretty much OCD about it, i have written the same sentence 5 times over so taht it was acceptable in my eyes. =)

All that my writing tells me and it’s recipients is that I can’t spell.
