WEEKENDS ARE MADE FOR

If you could do ANYTHING at all this weekend – no limit on money or babysitters or transportation – what would it be?

Two days of _____________?

  1. weekends are for all the things you can’t do doing the week- resting, playing, resting…. did I say that already? haha. I must be ready for the weekend!

With no restrictions, I’d say weekends are for traveling adventures :)

  2. I’m gonna sit beside Ram & Anna this weekend!!!
    Oh.
And can we also say that this will be declared NO SUNBURN weekend, by some strange atmospheric pressure thing…?
The bad UV rays won’t get to us. oh no!!!

  3. An unending quiet warm beach with sand between my toes with my picnic basket with sushi and treats, long blanket and my new book sacred echo.

Not to forget: no husband, no kids, just me.

  4. I can’t choose just one.

A romantic trip to the Greek Islands with my husband.
A fun filled few days in NYC (Spring or summer) with my best girlfriends.
Some beach, somewhere. (Any place HOT right now!)

  5. This weekend right now I’d rather have been able to spend recording the song thingy that’s in my head and partially on paper and in the Mac…

Instead I’ve had lots of church ‘things’ to do that I’d kinda forgotten about…so it’s my fault anyway – ah well

  6. Oh man – I’ve thought of this many times! I’d like 2 days with my guitar, a huge stadium, and the freedom to rockout with my friends on that kinda stage, with that kinda equipment for 2 days straight! so awesome… I don’t care if the stadium is empty, but just to plug into a big system like that and hear my guitar cry out… I would even just sleep on the stage when I got tired, then keep playing when i wake up :)

  7. You know I love my little girl so very much…but it would be nice to have a whole weekend with my husband, just the two of us! Not that it would be all lovey-dovey…I’m pretty sure we’d spend a lot of time watching TV or movies and just hanging out. No kid, no computer, no chores, no grocery store – just us hanging.

  8. I just had one half of a pretty great weekend. I think I’ll take what I’ve got. Thanks!

Great weather. A walk on the beach with the dogs this morning. Saw dolphins. Spent time with true friends. Got some stuff done.

    Yup. It’s all good.

  9. no limits on anything?

i’d fly everyone i’ve ever wanted to meet, and everyone i miss, to an island that was just for us. those who need some quiet could have their own section of the beach, those who are social could dance to their hearts content, those who need one-on-one conversations could have little fireside chats and I could watch everyone be happy and content and at peace.

And then I would sing and dance. Just for the hell of it.
