If you could do ANYTHING at all this weekend – no limit on money or babysitters or transportation – what would it be?

weekends are for all the things you can’t do doing the week- resting, playing, resting…. did I say that already? haha. I must be ready for the weekend!

With no restrictions, I’d say weekends are for traveling adventures :)

  2. 2009 February 27

Sitting on a deserted island somewhere in the Caribbean drinking Pina Colada’s brought to me by a really hot cabana boy!

  3. 2009 February 27

soaking up the sun in the bahamas while reading a good book and hanging out with my best friend.

  4. 2009 February 27

I’d love to spend the weekend at a spa resort with my hubby. Relaxing, laughing, massages. That would be perfect! Do you have a magic wand? : )

I’m gonna sit beside Ram & Anna this weekend!!!
    Oh.
And can we also say that this will be declared NO SUNBURN weekend, by some strange atmospheric pressure thing…?
The bad UV rays won’t get to us. oh no!!!

  6. 2009 February 27

Definitely up for two days on the beach right now. I don’t even care what I look like in my bathing suit.

  7. 2009 February 27

An unending quiet warm beach with sand between my toes with my picnic basket with sushi and treats, long blanket and my new book sacred echo.

Not to forget: no husband, no kids, just me.

  8. 2009 February 27

I totally agree about the no sunburn weekend….I am so white right now, I think I glow in the dark!!

  9. 2009 February 27

Saturday… the beach on Caye Caulker, maybe some snorkling in the morning, lobster for dinner.

Sunday – Big Belizean barbeque followed by an awesome worship service.

  10. 2009 February 27

    Hawaii with my hubby!

  11. 2009 February 27

    Red Sox in Ft. Myers.

Florida beaches and the Sox. :)

  12. 2009 February 27

Sweet uninterrupted slumber. I could seriously go for two days full of quality sleep.

    Is that sad?

  13. 2009 February 27

… being with the girlfriend in New York.

    (I can only dream. :) )

  14. 2009 February 27

Hmmm… I’m thinking a blogger’s beach weekend is in high demand! See y’all on the sandy shore!!! :)

  15. 2009 February 27

    And plenty of nap time.

    I can’t choose just one.

Some beach, somewhere. (Any place HOT right now!)

  21. 2009 February 27

  22. 2009 February 27

buying a car and getting ahead on school work… i’m boring

  23. 2009 February 28

Do we get one for each hand? :)

  24. 2009 February 28

This weekend right now I’d rather have been able to spend recording the song thingy that’s in my head and partially on paper and in the Mac…

Instead I’ve had lots of church ‘things’ to do that I’d kinda forgotten about…so it’s my fault anyway – ah well

  25. 2009 February 28

But I did get to a beach today for a picnic. It was a harbour beach as opposed to an ocean beach, but still v.v.v.good day for it :)

  26. 2009 February 28

Oh man – I’ve thought of this many times! I’d like 2 days with my guitar, a huge stadium, and the freedom to rockout with my friends on that kinda stage, with that kinda equipment for 2 days straight! so awesome… I don’t care if the stadium is empty, but just to plug into a big system like that and hear my guitar cry out… I would even just sleep on the stage when I got tired, then keep playing when i wake up :)

You know I love my little girl so very much…but it would be nice to have a whole weekend with my husband, just the two of us! Not that it would be all lovey-dovey…I’m pretty sure we’d spend a lot of time watching TV or movies and just hanging out. No kid, no computer, no chores, no grocery store – just us hanging.

  28. 2009 February 28

I just had one half of a pretty great weekend. I think I’ll take what I’ve got. Thanks!

Great weather. A walk on the beach with the dogs this morning. Saw dolphins. Spent time with true friends. Got some stuff done.

    Yup. It’s all good.

    no limits on anything?

i’d fly everyone i’ve ever wanted to meet, and everyone i miss, to an island that was just for us. those who need some quiet could have their own section of the beach, those who are social could dance to their hearts content, those who need one-on-one conversations could have little fireside chats and I could watch everyone be happy and content and at peace.

And then I would sing and dance. Just for the hell of it.

I would love to go to Hawaii to a spa and just relax… I really could use some down time… And I wouldn’t mind my hubby beside me.
