Something Saturday: Smarter

The Nobel Prize resulted form a late change in the will of Alfred Nobel, who did not want to be remembered after his death as a propagator of violence – he invented dynamite.

Urine was once used to wash clothes.

Ancient drinkers warded off the devil by clinking their cups.

The two highest IQ’s ever recorded (on a standard test) both belong to women.

In 1911 3 men were hung for the murder of Sir Edmund Berry at Greenbury Hill, their last names were Green, Berry , and Hill.

  1. Wow, I do feel smarter. My dog must be really smart. He often washes visitor’s pants legs with urine.

    Here’s another random fact: Did you know that Benjamin Franklin wanted the national bird to be the turkey? I wonder what bald eagle tastes like with giblet gravy.

  2. Anybody can memorize information-I was able to fool a lot of people into thinking I am smart that way-but it’s what we DO with what we know that counts.

    So maybe that makes me an idiot…? :???:
