It’s not a crisis for me. I won’t stay hungry for long. I packed a few snacks and will begin munching soon…
But a staggering number of our neighbors on this planet don’t have food. Not much at all. They live hungry.
Compassion International has declared today to be Global Food Crisis Day – a day to inform well-off people like you and me about the issues of poverty faced by a staggering number of others around the world.
Considering this day, this crisis, this need, let’s play a game that brings grains of rice to hungry people [insert wild applause here!]
We did this back in September, so let’s DO something again!!!!!

now i’m hungry for rice. not kidding. i’m so susceptible to suggestion.
I got up to 850 then had to go to the bathroom.
It is hard for us old folks to do anything for too long without a pit stop.
I will make the site one of my daily stops.
