Squares or Circles?

Which do you prefer – squares or circles?

What I really wanna know is… why?

So peer deeply into your soul. Close your eyes and ask your brain which shape feels better. Get in touch with your inner interior-decorator, and allow it to speak. Now, slowly… cautiously… type out your answer. And confidently hit [submit]. Trust me, you’ll feel better about yourself after this little act of confession.

  1. I like squiggily lines with no beginning and no end. Squares and circles are way too confining. I’m not picking either, cuz you’re not the boss of me! (snicker)

  2. I love circles. Love how they flow, love the curves, love how there is no beginning and no end. If I had to choose between circles, squares and squigglies though, squicgglies would win!

  3. see, the problem with me is, if i can’t make up my mind…then i observe the trend. and whatever direction the trend is going…i go the opposite.

    guess i’m rebellious.

  4. I prefer circles, they are part of my philosophy of life. I posted a video of Joni Mitchell’s “The Circle Game” on my blog Thursday.

A square is to confining. Although the nice neat lines do appeal to the OCD side of my personality.

I can’t come close to drawing a perfect circle or square. I can make a pretty good blob.

  5. When we did a little remodeling several years ago, my husband wanted to bullnose the corners of the walls. I was upset because I liked the look of straight edges. I said I liked “clean lines”, whatever the heck that really meant! So if I was making this decision back then, I’d say squares. But right now today, the circles are more appealing to me. Maybe I’m just afraid of the word square which reminds me of being an old fogey and I don’t want that.

  6. circles.

(and i ACTUALLY thought to myself, “no one is going to pick squares!” yet, i am happy i was proved wrong. we’re all different, and i like it. :) )

  7. I like combinations. I don’t want everything to be squares and I don’t want everything to be circles. I like it best when you put the two together and create shapes that are unique and funky.
