Start/Finish: Sentence.

To grow as a songwriter, I’ve also striven (is that a word?) to expand my ability to paint word pictures, using details from all senses.

So I thought it’d be cool if we did a start/finish to work on descriptive sentences.  (we did this with rhymes) You can either submit the start of a sentence, or finish one that’s already been offered. Ready? Go

(why am I talking in parenthesis today?)

    • the puppy had left his blanket on the landing, though it was now in several more pieces than it had been previously.

      (and if striven wasn’t a word…and I tend to think it wasn’t…you have now made it one. That’s how it works, you know)

    • …that distant happiness that hides its sweet face from Boston. We (the sun and I) used to be friends.

      (I think we’ve been taken over by Dementors.)
