Yay!! That is completely wonderful – not only because I know how much you missed GA but because I’m sure you two were following the Spirit in this decision . . .and what could be more wonderful than that??
Mandy, that’s awesome! As I was watching the video, I found myself saying (in my head – not out loud – I’m at work, and that might be weird), “Please let them go back south, please let them go back south…”
I guess I didn’t even know if that was your hope; it just seemed like you probably wanted to be closer to home. (I would, if I were in your shoes.) I don’t know if you did…but if so, congratulations!
And I imagine it’s probably a great feeling to KNOW where you’re headed next, too, right?
Anyway – I’m excited for you and Drew and can’t wait to read/hear more about this next part of your adventure!
WOOHOO!!!! Mandy!!!! You’re coming to me. YAY! I am so happy for you. I need more details…oh, and you forgot about the sandgnats when you said mosquitoes. )
I am so happy for you!!! Been praying that God would put you closer to your family..and no matter how far you drive to see them..it has to be at least a day closer in drive time! COngrats to both of you!! love you Mandypants!
OK…just read some of the comments. I know a lot of people that go to The Chapel. The secretary lives 4 houses down from me. The “used-to-be” secretary lives in my subdivision, too and I keep her little girl two days a week. Wow…I’ve heard GREAT things about The Chapel.
Soooooooo excited for y’all. Welcome back to the South!!! Can’t wait to make you one of us again….but I don’t think you can ever take the Southern out of a true Southern gal.
So glad to hear that you have some direction and you’ll be “home”! Very happy for you guys, now go out there and be all that the Lord has equipped you to be… and then some because He has some wonderful blessings for you that you have no idea about!
i know your heart is so happy!! which makes mine so happy for you. even though i wish you all were able to come our direction in stead. im selfish that way.
Mandy,
I’ve been praying on and off for you since Shannon got off the phone with Drew, Saturday evening… So excited about what God is doing. Three years and lots of growing up for us. I’m expectant. Love you…. and I am so proud of you my friend.
Mandy,
Well, you know it’s bittersweet – only bitter in that we wish you were coming 10 minutes more across the bridge to join us at SSCC … but The Chapel is awesome, Jay is a great man of God, an incredible leader … and we’re all on the same team, serving the same, great God.
I’m thrilled that ya’ll will be back in the area. As I said on the phone, God is up to something. I hope you’re reading to be inspired, and to inspire. We have songs to write, albums to produce, nights of worship to lead, and much fun to be had by all!
Drew – now you can bring your mighty 70+ pushup, bad*** self out to Regimen training with us!
Congrats to you and Drew. Great to see your going back home. You won’t even have to learn a new accent.
Your family must be just as excited as you are to hear you will be moving so close to them.
After you get rich from your album you can afford to hire a limo to drive the 300 miles to Athens and watch the Bulldogs.
What a beautiful city Brunswick is. Right on the ocean near Jerkyll and St. Simons Islands. Any place with a nickname like “Shrimp Capital of the World” gets my vote.
Congratulations Mandy… Joanna, Isaiah and I will follow you back down to Georgia come late May, early June. Where? Don’t know yet. Ah, the joys of graduating and moving! Glad you are somewhere that God wants you to be as well as where you want to be.
I am so out of the loop! Have been off blogoshphere with mom who ha and classes to keep my teaching cert active. Came over to glance for an update (barely awake) and got all excited when I saw WA on the map, and then realized it was the city, as in DC, not the state. :0( Then kept watching and got excited for you as the map and message kept scrolling. Very cute. And congrats!!! Still wish it was WA. Or OR. Or even ID. But very happy for you nonetheless. Now coffee. xoxox, Roxx
So excited for you two!!!
Congrats you two!
Yay!! That is completely wonderful – not only because I know how much you missed GA but because I’m sure you two were following the Spirit in this decision . . .and what could be more wonderful than that??
(Hey – and we’ll be in the same state!!)
holla!
still disappointed there was no bacon in this video
I’m so excited for you guys! Back to your beloved SSI!
Mandy, that’s awesome! As I was watching the video, I found myself saying (in my head – not out loud – I’m at work, and that might be weird), “Please let them go back south, please let them go back south…”

The Chapel is in Brunswick. Drew will be sort of like an associate pastor.
And Russ & Lydia are in Brunswick!! Yay!
LOL!
I.
Know.
That’s why I’ve been asking you questions!
We’ll have to hang sometime.
Hang, nothing – I’m talking – songwriter circles, worship leader lunches, nights of worship, bring it, Jesus.
awesome! congrats!!!
… And Chocolate Joshua… Geeze
My computer is down, so can’t watch. The gist of the comments is that you are headed back to GA.
Coolio for you two, praying for God’s will for both of you.
WOOHOO!!!! Mandy!!!! You’re coming to me. YAY! I am so happy for you. I need more details…oh, and you forgot about the sandgnats when you said mosquitoes.

The drive will be just over an hour to my mama’s house. I think I can handle that!

Your dreams were your ticket out.
Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.
Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they’re turned around.

i guess He’s ‘called’ you and Drew home Huh?
I’m sure you’ll both be offering up your thanks for that and your hearts will be full.
Try not to forget the perspective He allowed you to experience for a time from ‘outside’ and put it to good use now you’re back.
Hope all goes well between now and Chrissie.

Coolness.
Or rather, hotness
