  1. I fought off sinus headaches that turned into migraines, bloody noses (which I’ve never had before), and conjunctivitis. I managed to develop one heck of a sinus infection.

But I also watched the Sox sweep the Rays, so it wasn’t so bad. :)

    How was Canada?

  2. Slept for 20 hours. In a bed.

But it’s Thursday now so I tried to come up with a clever way to explain the difference between Georgia and New England on a blog about music.

Sadly, this is the best I could do:

    Georgia:

    New England:

    And Mandy:

  3. Hm…this weekend I traveled FROM Canada back to the States, attended my cousin’s wedding in my lovely homestate, visited my grandma for the first time in almost two years, and went to hear one of my favorite preachers. Busy weekend! :-) Hope you are enjoying Canada!

  4. Hamburger, Sandra Bullock movie, Wal-Mart? You guys sure know how to soak up all that French Candian culture. :)

I would have freaked out on the swing bridge myself. One of the dumbest things I ever tried was walking accross the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia. I had to get down on my hands and knees in one section.

My weekend? Football, football, football, football, baseball, soccer, football, football, football. The Dawgs might have got a little lucky. South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier looks like he is going to have a stroke after every play.

    • You’re crazy to have walked that bridge!!!

So… You have a GREAT point about what we “didn’t” do to soak up the French-Canadian culture. BUT, to be honest – I left out the crepe I had for lunch one day. Also the pudding cake dessert. And the winery. And the fromagerie. And the second largest mall in North America. And all the french I really did speak!
