First of all, your French really needs to improve. I know a couple of people who could help you with that. Second, you go to Canada to see a movie? LOL. Y’all are just like us! I did see an American movie with French subtitles this week but we had to drive into Paris. Third, the next French speaking country you need to visit is one of our two. Both have street musicians, much better architecture, no ‘fast food’, but lots of yummies. Love you guys. A bientot!
GREAT video!!! Now if you wanted to see an English film, Quebec City is NOT the place to go! LOL
Like I said, too bad you didn’t go to Montreal instead… we don’t roll up our steets that early on a Saturday night.. there’s always some Festival going on or musical event.
What do we do in the Winter… Play HOCKEY!!! Skate, Ski, Drink beer & wine! We don’t hibernate! Besides we (Montreal) have underground shopping for those of us who don’t like snow! WOOT!
It’s nice to see and outsider’s perspective on home. Thanks!
Sis,
Wonderful Vid!! Like Bear Grills meets Blair Witch Project. Hee Hee. Also, Tell the hubby there is no way Canadian Beef beats good ole American raised Cow!
OH! And something crazy? While we were there, we watched the Discovery Channel (which was miraculously in English) and Bear Grills was doing a show on surviving the Florida Everglades. Oh the irony!!!
Now re-post the same video with Thompson-French voice-overs and southern-English subtitles. Pour example, you say something in French along the lines of what Love suggests and at the bottom we read “heeeyye, I’ll taike Sandy anyway I cain git ‘er.” Actually, just that 30 seconds should be enough.
Ah! You thought the white stuff was mayo? No curd cheese… You are braver than me. It’s very greasy from the fries and then you add the rest… bleh! I stick to meat pies.

I agree with SO much that you say!
Ok – just how did you get a waterfall in full stereophonic sound on a hand-held video camera??
‘I’ll take Sandra Bullock any way i can get her’ – How about that? we think alike!
(Or maybe not exactly!?)
American Tourists in foreign countries just amaze me.
Well Done on making it out of the US for the first time tho’!
<B
1) The camera actually has stereo sound recording. Fancy, eh?
oops
2) Sandy? LOL!!! Yes definitely not the same. I watched the vid after I said that.
1) i’m impressed!
2) Sorry for pointing that out. (not really-Tee hee!)
i know – i need to grow up
<B
I would LOVE to see a Sandra Bullock movie in French. I can’t think of anything better.
“Everything’s in French.”
You crack me up!
Apparently I need to change my blog address.. http://www.ChrisFromLeCanada.com – haha!
So of all the great things our country has to offer, you begin your video at a money-changing booth?? Come on!!

haha! But, bro, you’ve gotta taste one of those Harvey’s burgers. Trust. Me.

Cool. Thanks. It is beautiful there.

hahaha! Be warned: what you *think* is a strong southern accent will be getting MUCH stronger next year!
mmmmmmmmmm…..ketchup chips!!
Harvey’s…
woman! you are making me miss Canada!!
sigh. i hope you enjoyed it…french people and all.
What I thought was so funny was that the chips are ketchup flavored, but the french fries are served with mayonnaise!!!
You should have tried “Poutine”: French Fries, with Brown Gravy and Curd Cheese! That is the dish if Quebec… I am not so brave tho!
Is THAT what that was?! We couldn’t figure it out…
And, no, we didn’t try it. But I regret not.
