I challenge each and every one of us to post this and pass it on… wether it be on facebook, twitter, youtube, your personal blog….Just like Mandy we may sit a while and wonder what people may think of us…but keep these young kids in mind…keep in mind what they go through each second of every day. thanks for posting this! people need to be made aware, this isn’t just happening far away its happening around us, and we need to be looking for it, praying about how we can make a difference. Even if it is one child at a time…reminds me of your “DO Something”

Anyone who thinks there are no children in their country be abused as sex slaves must be blind. We need videos like the one you posted to keep reminding us of this truth. This is still a problem because too many people prefer to be blind.

What is even more depressing is looking at the hundreds of organizations trying to deal with this issue, such as the “Office of the Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings”, http://www.osce.org/cthb , and realizing how extensive child sex abuse still is.

I hope we are at least getting to that first step of recognizing the full extent of this tragic abuse of children.

We can not use the word civilized to describe any society until we first element the words “child abuse”.

Far from being offended, we should be weeping with those who are weeping, and doing all we can to make a change.

I know there’s lots of orgs that help in the fight against slavery of all types.

Diane and I support She Dances and The A21 Campaign (Christine Caine’s org).

Thanks Mandy for the reminder. Even as we contribute to orgs making a difference, it’s still easy to remain aloof… We can’t afford to be.
