The token “Church Staff disclaimer” blog post.

Well, since I mentioned the whole Sitting In A Pub And Sipping Wine Thing in the last post, I figured I better write the token blog post where I make sure you all know that the things expressed on my blog are not necessarily representative of the Staff, Pastors, or congregation of The Chapel.

I am me and they are they and we are not always the same. And what I say here isn’t always what they’d say there. But they love me anyway.

So there.

Done.

Services are at 9am and 10:30 on Sunday mornings. Good music & great preaching. Make yourself at home.

With love for my church,

mandy

  1. Is it weird that when I read this I hear it with more of an accent in my mind now that you’re back in the south?

Or, now that y’all are back in the South… guess that would be more appropriate. :)

    How’s the house situation going?

  2. haha! I work for a company that makes us all sign a disclaimer when hired to the effect of “all ideas that you come up with belong to the company.” A colleague put this signature line at the end of his emails:

All ideas expressed and implied in this email come from the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Company. However, The Company does own them, much to their chagrin.

    • Ric, that’s brilliant. Once, when political ads first required the personal ownership clause, I added “My name is Allen Hutchison and I approve this email message” to my auto-signature. It was great for about a day. Then my manager made me take it off.

  3. DRUNKEN HEATHENS, THE WHOLE LOT OF YA! ;-)

Now, where did I set my Yeti Imperial?

This comment does not necessarily represent the views or opinion of the Staff, Pastors, or congregation of St. Simons Community Church, or for that matter, anyone who’s ever passed by the building, looked at it from a passing airplane, or pet a stray dog that eventually ended up dumping somewhere in or near our parking lot, though – oddly enough – I think it does somewhat parallel the views, beliefs, and opinions of a great majority of the turtles living in and around the pond out front. Strange that.

  4. The New England Pub Mandy is more like The Chapel than you may realize. Be who you wanna be girl- we are just glad you are here :)
