Hi Mandy. This is simple, true yet so profound. What do I do with pain…after trying my own way, I end up at the foot of the cross in surrender. At the cross, we always win even when it HURTS so bad. Blessing.
It is so true, Everyone does hurt. It is also true that when you are the one who is hurting
you can allow yourself to feel that you are so alone in it. However, as we look outside ourself
we can find comfort in knowing that the first statement is very real. It is then we can find healing and peace just knowing we have the great healer sharing our pain with us and with those around us that perhaps are hurting even more so than we.
“Take it to the Lord in Prayer.
DO NOT EVER FORGET THAT!! You will push that aside sometimes and we shouldn’t. Papa has hurts – even today. I have had hurts in the past that have actually left some nasty holes. Some never heal completely – but I am thankful for Christian friends.
This morning I read your post. It’s now almost 4 pm, and I’m still thinking about it.
So true. This has served as a mirror for my own hurts. I’m now examining how I deal with pain in my own life, and what I can do to direct it towards the Healer.

Thank you!
Very true Mandy. Pain motivates us just as joy does.
Pain and joy are two essentials parts in our lesson in life.
this is SO very true, mandy.
i see this ALL the time working at my church. in good ways and bad.
i want to be a good steward of my hurts.
i want to live worthy of my suffering.
Some of life’s biggest lessons come in the simplest sentences.
