I have a “haven’t-met-yet” friend in town who I’ ve recently discovered is a fantastic budding blogger…
Today is in honor of her [insert round of applause here] because… well, I’m totally stealing her idea:
We’re playing the Nerdy Numbers game. It’s easy. Just use numbers to celebrate the nerd in you.
Like this:
- 3 computer screens. Sometimes I have 3 screens going at once in my office.
- 6 dollars and 30 cents. That’s how much my favorite mechanical pencil costs.
- 3 of my favorite mechanical pencils. I have 3 of them. 1) the original that I found 5 years ago, scratched and dirtied on the asphalt after having been run over in the road on a side street that goes to the beach. 2) the other 1 I bought about 3 years ago (I bought 2. Lost 1). 3) the other other 1 that I bought recently after I realized I lost 1 of the 2 I bought.
Speaking of that lost pencil…
- ZERO episodes left in Lost. Zero. Not happy about that at all.

I met Dr. Pepper a while ago. Yes, the man who invented Dr. Pepper… He owned a house on a very expensive little island in our area. VURRY expensive. But, he was sweet. It was quite an experience. I sang music for him. He had Valets and Maids and… well… All very surreal, now that I think about it.

too numerous to count – the number of times I check my email or my blog stats (shameless LOL); also the number of hours I spent chatting on Gmail when I should be working….

LOVE those nerdy shows. I wish CBS would put Big Bang online to watch. I missed quite a few of Numb3r’s last season so I’m gonna need to watch both of those via DVD once they come out.

TWELVE??? Wow. You must be a speed reader. I don’t think I’ve read twelve books in the past 4 years.
Haha I read quickly…but not quite a speed reader. It’ll be the last time I have a guaranteed 3 months off, so I’m gonna try to make the most of it and make a dent in my ever-growing stack of unread books.
