Drew and I had a fun lazy summer afternoon convo a few weeks ago. Here’s a snippet:
- Would you rather have no ears OR no thumbs?
- Would you rather live off of Chicken Noodle Soup and water but be able to read for the rest of your life, OR spend the rest of your life eating/drinking whatever you want but remain illiterate forever?
- Would you rather have endless money but no traveling out of state, OR unlimited traveling while living off $40,000 a year?
- Would you rather have 4 inch long fingernails or toenails?

1) Must have ears to listen to music. Could find a way to use iPod without thumbs
2) I need to feed my brain more than my stomach. Don’t know if I could live without bacon though.
3) I now live on less than $40,000 and no longer travel out of state. The young me would be htting the open road.
4) Drew is weird.
#4 was MY idea!
1. No ears. (thumbs are necessary for PS3 and Halo. And typing.)
2. I’ll take illiteracy with a side of cheesecake and fries.
3. If I understand correctly, I don’t have to work but get a 40K check and can travel…Let’s do it!

seriously, just the thought of eating it for a week makes me want to gag!
however, someone mentioned HOMEMADE chicken noodle soup and that would make a HUGE difference. You can put all kinds of good for you stuff in there that would maybe let you live a little bit longer than the Campbells variety.

1. no thumbs, cuz i like to wear earrings not i don’t wear thumb rings. Also I wear glasses sometimes and how would they stay on?
2. i would rather live off of Chicken Noodle Soup and water but be able to read for the rest of my life. could it be homemade cuz the canned stuff is just plain gross?
3. i would rather have unlimited traveling while living off $40,000 a year. But can i spend the $40k just on travel (no mortgage, utility bills, car payment, etc)?

4. Gross, but to follow the rules I have to choose…um, toenails so I can cover ‘em up easier.
How does one go about covering up 4 inch long toenails?
With shoes that would regularly be too big. Like if you wear a size 6 then you just go up a size or two and the voila! Your ugly toes are covered up!
What about flip-flop days, which are 8 months out of the year here?
I’m not sure if four-inch nails could be covered up by a size 8… I know there’s a curl in both fingernails and toenails that grow super long (I’ve seen it on the discovery channel or something) but the curl is very gradual. I’m thinking the shoes would have to be custom made. And, then, would it be hard to walk?
Granted, when Drew and I were playing this game, I think I picked the long toe-nails…
long nails are so disgusting. i remember seeing a tv special of guinness world record about the longest nails and i just remember thinking, that is sooo stupid to dedicate so much time to cleaning and being so careful and then all the things that you can’t do. like use a computer. omg. so retarded. but i feel that way about most of those world record things. so much wasted time. i think it’s just idolatrous..(is that a word?)
