      • btw i started writing historical fiction…because I love Francine River’s stuff, but I don’t like ALL historical fiction. I read Perpetua a few years ago, and loved it, it was called histiorography or something like that, i can’t spell and im too lazy to google check my self.

But memoir’s are ok, in fact, I enjoy a good bio. :)

blah blah blah…haven’t used all my words quota for the day…sorry for word vomitting. lol

      • Nice word vomitation. :) I don’t know this Perpetua person you’re talking about. But let’s be honest, I’m a memoir girl, so I probably won’t be reading that Perpetua stuff. Glad you like it, though!

        • it’s fascinating, she was a martyr back in the early first couple centuries…can’t remember which. roman times, gladiators and such. similar to francine rivers’ Mark of the Lion – Voice in the Wind trilogy. that is all :D

          • Sounds almost interesting enough for me to read… But, let’s be honest, I bought 3 memoirs with some Christmas money and I haven’t yet to crack open one of them. These being the books that I *wanna* read.

  1. 1) Novel, Memoir, Historical Fiction: historical fiction

    2) Popcorn, Pringles, Pretzels: popcorn

    3) Running Shoes, Dress Shoes, No Shoes: no shoes

    4) Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep: Sandra Bullock

    5) Smile, Kiss, Wink : kiss

  2. 1) Historical Fiction (esp. with espionage!)

    2) Popcorn (esp. TABASCO popcorn)

    3) No Shoes forever and always

    4) Uhh? None? All? Picking people is hard for me. I’m a lovahh.

    5) Smile. It’s WAY more versatile, and less awkward with coworkers.

          • Not ON the popcorn (it’ll get soggy)…IN the popcorn.

I always make my popcorn homemade, it’s way better.

Add tabasco (to taste, I like a lot but it gets REALLY spicy) to the oil. Let heat up…toss in kernels, cook normally (adding your usual toppings prior to eating). I’ve used too much and had to open EVERY window in the house, as the heat from the oil causes the tabsco to permeate everything. But, if done correctly it’s amazing. :)

    • tsk tsk…. You can do this, Katy. Yes, they’re people with feelings. But I seriously doubt that Sandra or Julia will ever see which one you’re choosing over the other… So, out with it: Sandy or Jules?

  3. 1) Novel, Memoir, Historical Fiction

    Memoir

    2) Popcorn, Pringles, Pretzels

    Pringles

    3) Running Shoes, Dress Shoes, No Shoes

    Slippers

    4) Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep

    5) Smile, Kiss, Wink

    Yes.

    3. no shoes (I really prefer boots, but it wasn’t a choice)
    4. Sandra Bullock
    5. Kiss

ps. I love when u do this little game… ur choices always crack me up!

  5. Novel
    Pringles
Sandals (See what I did there? They all rhyme… and I’m going through a rebellious phase so I *HAD* to break one of the rules!) ;)
    Sandra
    Kiss. Definitely a kiss. *grin*

  6. 1) Historical Fiction

    2) Pringles (if I HAVE TO choose one)

    3) No Shoes (of course)

    4) Sandra Bullock (hard list)

    5) Wink (I’m undercover like that)

  7. memoir
popcorn all of the way with some good butter and a dash of salt
I guess I would have to say running shoes on this one but if toms were an option I would probably go for a pair of those
Sandra bullock all of the way.
And wink. even if the person can’t wink very well that always makes me laugh

  8. 1) Memoir… probably. I don’t read much and when I do it’s usually nonfiction.

    2) Popcorn…especially movie theatre popcorn. But I do have a soft spot for chocolate covered pretzels.

    3) No shoes… totally depends, but in the summer I go barefoot if I am walking (typically when I walk home from church) whenever possible.

    4) Julia Roberts… just because I think she’s great.

    5) Smile… a guy’s smile is what attracts me most. Wink at me and I have already labeled you a creeper and will not give you a second look.

  9. 1. novel
    2. popcorn
    3. dress shoes. [good heels... the higher the better... assuming i wasn't sick]
    4. Sandra… no question.
    5. a smile that leads to a wink that leads to a kiss.

    • “the higher the better” you are such a diva! :) You know I’ve been watching Alias and she starts running in those club dresses and heels and I have no idea how she does it. I bet you’re that awesome in a pair! :)

  10. Guess I’m the odd ball in the group since I haven’t seen anyone else pick the pretzels.
    1) Memoir – love reading life stories
    2) Pretzels
    3) No Shoes
    4) Sandra Bullock
    5) Had to go with Gitz’s response. A smile that leads to a wink that leads to a kiss. Reminds me of how Dean & I met 21 years ago.

  11. OOps, it didn’t grab my whole post. Weird.

If I had to choose only one out of these, it would be number one. Alas, here I go picking my ones for these subsequent choices.

    Memoir.

I could eat pretzels all day. I once ate five pounds in a little less than a month. Probably why I am the girth I am.

    Running shoes.

    Sandra Bullock!

I ain’t doin no kissin, only because no boy wants me…. At least not right now.
    Sooo… Smile.

  12. 1) Memoir for sure!

    2) Popcorn…with mustard or hot sauce to dip in. my mouth is watering.

    3) Running Shoes ish. I only wear my converse. 6/7 days a week

    4) Sandra Bullock because i like 28 Days

    5) Smile. deeply satisfying to give and receive.
