I’m learning a lot about light. And the thing that strikes me the most is that, even when there’s more darkness than light, the light still controls what and how we perceive something.
Light? It is powerful.

Have I been to this building? Bi swear we taped a GP dance video there…
how my eye is drawn to the brightest light in the picture
The subject of light and darkness is intriguing to me. Maybe it’s the concept of good-vs-evil, or black and white or yin and yang. This might be polar opposite from what your post originally meant…but I’d like to share it anyway.
Darkness is defined as the absence of light.
And if you think about it like that, then darkness isn’t so scary. it’s simply the absence of something…that something being light. And if you take it a step further, you could even argue that darkenss cannot exist in and of itself; it only exists becuase light exists.
It’s just a different way of thinking about it and I thought you might enjoy it.
PS…I’m a relatively new reader. I enjoy your creativity and the underlying current of faith that runs through it.
Hey Erin!! Thanks for hopping in and commenting here.
And yeah I like how you’re thinking about darkness being an absence. Isn’t that interesting? And people say that hell is an absence of the presence of God. Very interesting for sure.
