TJ – we can all only take one ’step’ (hop, skip, jump?) at a time and so ideally make our progress and path through life.

i prefer to look at it as His wisdom more than ‘courage’ – but it does indeed take courage to look carefully, critically and conscientiously at what it is inside of us that makes us ‘do’ what we do.

at first we take ‘baby’ steps and then growing in confidence we may take larger ones – hopefully, as we ‘grow’ we learn to do so through Him and not through ‘me’, first.

Not married. I am free to be a world famous actor, and “suffer” through all those kissing scenes.

I do agree however being famous, with no privacy, is not a job I would ever want.

my first reaction was to laugh and then i thought about it and it is so so true! i would hate that. it would just be weird to watch that. and that is something so intimate and important for a couple….hmmmm…i agree with Becky in the fact that it may have a connection in the messed up marriages and how many people make out on movies.

That would be so weird to have to do that stuff with random guys. And yeah, I can see how it would go somewhere mentally and on occasion, physically. It does seem like actors hook-up soon after doing a movie together. Isn’t that what happened with Brangelina? At the moment I can’t think of other specific couples, but maybe some will come to mind later. Let me go dig up my Enquirer mag. (HaHa, just kidding, I don’t really have one. I promise.)

There’s GOT to be some connection between all the jacked up marriages in Hollywood and the unhealthy behavior their jobs require of them. NO WAY the money and fame are worth it.

I totally agree, but then it makes you wonder how much we as Christians should be supporting certain actions on screen. Should we be paying people to pretend to sleep with other people’s spouses??? Thanks, now I feel convicted about the movie I subjected myself to just yesterday.
