Well, we waited to do the numbers this morning. I figured I’d give y’all a full 24hrs to make the cut.

So, waiting for coffee this morning, coffee that is still brewing, I say to him, “Are you ready to pick some numbers?”

“Yes! four thousand one hundred—”

“No no. Wait.”

“Negative Eleven!”

Now I’m laughing. This is impossible. I married a math major and he’s brilliant and he’s just come in all sweaty from a run and his endorphins are flying and he’s going to be funny.

“Eighteen point seven.”

At that point I explain the contest and he drinks some water and settles down and here we go.

Wow, somewhere between when I ate dinner and when I woke, y’all did some serious hustling to get people to this blog. The #s went crazy. People from all corners of the world awake at all hours of the night.

Y’all. Are. Crazy.

This has been WAY more fun than I ever would’ve imagined. WAYYYY.

And y’all are hyper-creative, that’s for sure.

But nobody really cares about that, do they? Y’all just wanna know who won?

@angie — a long time reader and missionary — pulled in the most votes and BAM the $10 is hers! Let’s make some dreams come true at the House of Dreams!!

Now, cousin (I don’t know how that ended up being her reader nick-name, but she was around when I was handing them out and that’s what she got) tell me where on the internet to *insert credit card here* and I’ll make it happen!!

The contest? Ten bucks goes to the comment that’s the most creative and altruistic answer to this question:

If I offered you a ten dollar bill right now, what would you do with it? 

Rules:

  1. Contest runs until 6am EST Wednesday morning, when I will pick the top ten answers.
  2. Community voting runs from 8am Wednesday to 6am Thursday (EST, y’all). & you will VOTE on the most creative and altruistic answer.
  3. 8am EST Thursday = I announce the winner! (or you can just pay attention to the votes to find out. yep)
  4. The winner gets Ten Bucks from southeast Georgia. (International players, oh geeze I don’t even know what to do about that yet. Suggestions?)

Pssst… Hey.

See that post right down there? Well, it’s teeming with questions. Teeming with stiff competition over some Christy Nockels’ CDs…

And, well, there’s only one way to win: Ask a question that my husband would like.

I’ll warn you – he already told me that Tam can’t win (They have a little rivalry going – has something to do with sit ups or something) so that heightens your chances of winning!

And, can I just say that I’m SOOO excited to bless three of you with copies of this CD?

And, can I also say that I’m already beginning to think through answers for some of these posts? I think you’ll have me covered through the end of the summer. YAY!
