WW – christmas – 7.9.08

happy whatever wednesday day

kristiapplesauce, in her infinite goofiness, closed last week by asking: Are you already thinking about Christmas? If not, when do you start thinking about it?

ok. if y’all wanna know the truth, i think she’s asking because she thinks about Christmas year round. and probably because she already has my Christmas present picked out and is trying to send me some subliminal messages to get her Christmas present wrapped tightly with a bow as well. some people. anyway, what was the question? oh yeah… am i “already thinking about Christmas?” yes. thanks for bringing it up BEFORE THE FOURTH OF JULY, crazy kristi. “if not, when do you start thinking about it?” well, if you hadn’t already brought it up, i’d probably get around to thinking about it sometime in early fall, because the insanity of the commercially-driven culture we live in will begin to shower us with hints of Christmas. ugh. bah humbug. i’m just sayin. so, for our secret question: what do you want for Christmas? good luck trying to figure out a SECRET way to sneak it into your comment down there. SECRET. remember? don’t say “hey mandy, i want a wii.” no, that will not work. you’ll blow our cover-it’s gotta be smooth. covert. secret. ok? ok.

starter question: what do you want for Christmas? ;)

so. what you do is answer the last question in the comments and leave a question for the next person to answer, and they will leave a question for the next person to answer.

ok?

YAY! happy wednesday!!!

need… more… t-shirts.

i’m sweating. SWEATING in December… i think my blood has thickened to the point of molasses… the sun and humidity and lack of snow is cooking me.

and my friends back home tell me that we’ve gotten another snow storm – that’s THREE in one week.

i think i’d rather be sweating.

:)

what did you forget to pack on your way home for the holidays???

WHATEVER WEDNESDAY – 12.19.07

235696308_d70e60c0cf.jpghappy wednesday before Christmas! this is when the shopping madness begins!!!

so, for Tam’s last question (am i a grumpy shopper this time of year?) – the answer is a resounding YES! i am NOT a fan of big malls and advertising and commercials and all that junk…. and, to know that i have little choice but to give these people my money, it frustrates me! i think our country is WAY too commercialized – its awful. i don’t want ‘them’ to win!  call me Scrooge. i’m ok with it!

ok, starter question: do you have a relative or friend that is impossible to shop for? and, what are you getting them for Christmas this year?
