- Friendships. Real ones. That have faces and conversations and know when I’m lying. Those ones.
- Love. (See above, but add family and my favorite man in the whole world.) (That would be Drew.)
- Sandra Bullock. (Ok. That might be an exaggeration. But when there’s no news of an upcoming film starring hers-truly, I start to miss her.)
- Water. And sleep. Oh and food. Yes. The essentials. I briefly considering adding showering to the list, but realized I’d happily live without that. And, more accurately, should’ve placed it on the “I could live without…” list instead. Oops.
- Opportunities to be creative. And, potentially, songwriting in general.

So, Katy Perry & Sandra Bullock walk into a chocolate bar…
Guilty pleasures. I have them:
- Articles on Sandra Bullock in People Magazine. I even have friends who supply me when they come out, because I don’t subscribe. It’s awful.
- Chocolate. Except, to be completely honest, I hardly feel super-guilty about that.
- Wine (um… yes?)
- Music by P!nk, and/or Katy Perry. (There, I said it. Let the commenting begin.)
- Yoga… But, should I feel guilty about that? I mean, really. It makes my stress headaches go away. AND it’s like totally barefooted exercise where you get to wear pajamas and move at the speed of a sloth. A dream come true.
- Not wearing sunscreen. (Gah! I know. And the surgeon general probably has a write up on the risks of screen-less sunbathing. And I also think he has something to say about the health benefits of a glass of wine a day, so there.)
Ok. Your turn. What are some of your guilty pleasures?
My TV BFFs

Why do I become emotionally attached to the fictitious characters in my favorite TV shows? Loralai, Phoebe, CJ, Kate – to name a few. [sigh] I can’t even really control this dynamic in my life. It just sort of happens. And I don’t even watch that much TV. But, when I’m sold on a series, I’m sold…
And so these people become strange elements of my thoughts. You know… Like, wondering if Kate will end up with Jack or Sawyer, for example. And I’m convinced that Kate and I would be friends in real life (just like I’m certain that Sandra Bullock and I would make GREAT friends, but she’s real, so that doesn’t count for this post).
Anyway (since y’all did an overwhelmingly amazing job of telling the www what you were watching yesterday) (and I enjoyed every comment) today we will be sharing the names of our secret TV friends.
You know you have them. The ones who you wonder about between shows. The ones you want to dress like. Or hang out with. Or you think you know.
Yes. Them.
Go on. Tell the whole wide inter-world who they are…
