Catharsis

Concept:

Anger is wild and energetic. I painted this on a particularly frustrating day. I had to get it out somehow. The colors came quickly, the textures and then the messes of turquoise. Anger is thick and textured and vibrant. It all pulled together to help me bring the anger out of myself and release it. The most important thing to know about this one is that it is one of my favorites. It speaks deeply to me, of the beauty of finding healthy ways to deal with our negative emotions. There are good and positive ways to get this out of us instead of carrying it around. 

I could've titled this one Rage.
